Strike Aviation @ World Cargo Summit 2023
After two years of highly successful virtual events, the World Cargo Summit will go live. The three-day conference will be held at the Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island from January
In Julia’s view, Strike has always been a niche business eager to go the extra mile for the customer and do things differently. She is also proud of the company’s progress towards a more sustainable future: “Strike plants one tree for every cargo shipment it makes to offset CO2 emissions”. That’s not equally balanced, but for us, that’s a huge step toward sustainability”. She also notes that Strike offers all employees electric bicycles, supplies green energy, and is converting to a fully digital business to ensure a better future for the generations to come. 🌳
Ahead of the Miami Air Cargo Forum, Julia points out that “it’s the first major event following the pandemic, and it’s the first large-scale air cargo forum in the US, so this is an incredible opportunity to present ourselves once again, get insights into how we can improve our services, and build new partnerships”. Julia is also excited about the exhibition as it will allow her to meet colleagues who are usually based in different locations around the globe.
Asked about her free time and hobbies, Julia reveals that as a kid, she used to go on skiing trips with her family, but now she rather enjoys summer travels. Also, she is looking forward to trying scuba diving during this holiday season. ☀️
