People of Strike Aviation: Antonas Sverckovas
Let’s shine the spotlight on Antonas, whose tenure with Strike Aviation began on a spring day in 2010, right in the heart of Vilnius, Lithuania.
GSSAs and airlines have undoubtedly felt a market slowdown in 2023, which is caused by a combination of several factors: lowered prices and, at the same time, a decrease in cargo volume.
💬 According to one of Strike’s executives, Andrius Antanaitis, external influences, such as fuel prices, seasonality, interest size, decrease in consumption, and inflation management in different countries, impact business and are difficult to predict. Nevertheless, GSSAs expect the market to pick up again in the second half of 2023, although at a slow and steady pace. “I think the airfreight market should stabilize in the fourth quarter of the year as the service prices in our region are falling, and it has a lot of impact on business profitability and overall results,” says Antanaitis.
