What an incredible time in Riga! Our team at Strike Aviation just wrapped up an inspiring event focused on the future of Nordic air cargo. It was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with our long-term partners, network with industry leaders, and forge new connections. Beyond the strategic discussions, the energy of the event made it a truly memorable experience for everyone involved.
The presentations delivered a clear and powerful message: the Baltic region is no longer just a spectator but a high-growth engine in the European aviation context. Seeing the current expansion of VNO, RIX, and TLL airports confirms that we are on the right track. The call for strategic infrastructure investment is louder than ever, and we are excited to be at the forefront of this transformation, bridging the gap between regional potential and global logistics.

Experiencing the energy of this region while discussing the future of global trade was truly remarkable. 2026 has already kicked off as a “year of unpredictability,” but the insights from Lima provided much-needed clarity on where we are headed:
🔹The Growth Surge: We are seeing a steady global GDP growth, but the real momentum is in trade and e-commerce. With an average growth rate of ~40% per year, the demand for air cargo is not just recovering – it’s booming.
🔹The AI Revolution: Artificial Intelligence is no longer a future concept; it’s a present-day engine for operational efficiency. From optimizing logistics routes to managing global supply chains, IT solutions are now the dominant force in our industry.
🔹Resilience is Key: In today’s volatile trade environment, air cargo remains the backbone of global trade. Whether it’s sustained e-commerce demand or navigating geopolitical shifts, our agility will be the key to success this year.
Attending Air Cargo India for the first time was an eye-opening dive into one of the world’s most dynamic logistics hubs. We gained invaluable insights into local market trends and had the privilege of connecting with air cargo carriers across the West Asia region. With the new EU-India trade agreement, opportunities for partnerships are reaching new heights, and Strike Aviation is ready to be part of this exciting journey.
Key takeaways:
🔹 Positive momentum across the West Asia cargo sector – a prime window for enhanced cooperation and more efficient logistics.
🔹 India’s market growth is transformative – the scale and pace of expansion are reshaping global supply chains.
🔹 Future-focused meetings – from high-level meetings to spontaneous networking, the quality of engagement was outstanding.
