New COO Europe at Strike Aviation Group

Strike Aviation Group has a new-look leadership team as Julia Knecht-Ostwaldt steps into the role of Chief Operating Officer for Europe.

Julia joined Strike Aviation in 2007 as Commercial Director Europe and has an extensive background in the air cargo industry.

Julia said: “After leading the commercial operations in Europe for 14 years, it is a pleasure to take on this new leadership position as Chief Operating Officer and to further grow the business in the region.

“Strike Aviation is continually expanding its network of world class airlines in line with the high demand for international air cargo, so this is an exciting time for the Group’s European locations.”

Julia is based at Strike Aviation Group’s headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany

Strike Aviation Group announces new Director of Business Development

Andrius Antanaitis has been named as Strike Aviation’s new Director of Business Development for Europe as the Group reveals further changes to its leadership team.

Andrius, who is based at the Group’s Vilnius office in Lithuania, joined Strike Aviation in 2009 and previously held the position of General Manager. Following the announcement of the new role, Andrius said: “Europe is a dynamic market for air transport and a hub for airlines and freight forwarders from around the world, so it is an honour to move into the role of Director of Business Development for Europe.

“I am now looking forward to sourcing new business opportunities for Strike Aviation, especially in the perishables market, and to continue growing the Group’s brand in the region.”

Antanaitis’ promotion follows the announcement of Julia Knecht-Ostwaldt as the new Chief Operating Officer for Europe.
