The International Air Transport Association (IATA) and Travalyst have partnered to give consumers a consistent, accurate, and generally accessible calculation of their carbon footprint from air travel. 

This new collaborative effort will provide data and standard methodology for route-based passenger CO2 emissions calculations, including a shared position on sustainable aviation fuel.

Thus, it marks a significant turning point in the sector’s decarbonization and will lead to even more transparency in estimating travelers’ carbon footprints. 🛩
